Your new role You will be joining this organisation in Solihull on a temporary, part-time basis. This job is a Mobile School Crossing Patrol position, working 7.5 hours a week.The postholder will be required to work mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday, on a term-time only basis.DutiesPatrols need to be sensitive to traffic conditions - allowing appropriate stopping time, and not stopping traffic more often than necessary.Maintain control over children who are awaiting your instructions to cross.Keeping the ''Stop Sign'' inverted when not wishing to cross but showing sign clearly to approaching traffic before stepping into the road.Taking up the correct position on the road.To use all equipment provided for the safety of yourself, children and all members of the public, especially when stopping traffic on the road.Ensure that any incidents occurring on site are reported to the School Crossing Patrol manager/Supervisor as soon as possible.What you''ll get in return This role starts as soon as possible, working Monday to Friday during school term times.
