Protective Security Officer - Emergency Planning Job description 37 hours per week We are seeking a driven individual with experience in the Protective Security, Risk Management, Business Continuity or Emergency Management fields with a sound understanding of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 and related legislation and guidance. The successful candidate will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to foster productive working relationships with a wide range of partners and stakeholders. The post-holder will proactively support delivery of the Local Approach by co-ordinating the council''s efforts in nurturing, promoting and demonstrating a positive security culture across the organisation through the Protective Security Preparedness Group (PSPG). You will be knowledgeable in the safeguarding of assets (physical, people, systems and information) and have a comprehensive understanding of risk management practices and methodologies and be competent in providing advice and guidance in these areas.
