Caritas Recruitment, on behalf of Cafcass, is looking for an experienced Children''s Social Worker to join as an Agency Family Court Adviser (FCA) within the Private Law teams.

You will:

• Carry out assessments and work directly with children to ensure their wishes and feelings are heard and represented in court.

• Apply your expertise in risk assessment and mediation to support safe, child-focused outcomes.

• Advocate for arrangements that prioritise the best interests of the child.

• Manage a demanding caseload with independence, resilience, and strong organisational skills.

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.

• Ideally 3+ years'' experience in children & families social work.

• Experience in Family Court proceedings and knowledge of Public Law.

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
