My client is looking for a Principal Auditor who can support the Audit Manager in providing internal audit services to clients. You will conduct internal audit reviews, which will consist of planning, testing, providing recommendations and reporting. As the Principal Auditor, you will conduct your work in accordance with the PSIAS/IIA UK standards and where required you will review the work of junior staff. You will attend Audit Committee meetings for clients at the request of the Audit Manager. Key responsibilities of the Principal Auditor Carry out internal audit reviews, to include planning, testing, suggesting improvements and reportingAssist the Audit leadership team in providing audit and assurances to clientsSupervise and review the work of junior staffEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with the PSIAS/IIA standardsComplete all work within the allocated timeAttend Audit Committee meetings where requiredFully complete and submit all administrative forms by the due dates Required skills and experience of the Principal Auditor Holds or studying towards a professional qualificationExperienced with internal auditingPreviously conducted system-based auditsStrong report writing skillsCapable of working independentlyExcellent analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively both written and verbally This is a fantastic oppor
