Find your future with us.Starting in September 2026, the two-year scheme will see the successful applicants undertake four six-month placements across a number of key disciplines, in different UK locations. The scheme will provide the successful graduate a chance to cover a diverse range of areas, fundamental to understanding successful Finance roles within Boeing. We put an emphasis on learning in the workplace with live projects, working across multiple teams and locations, supported by theoretical learning and support from colleagues and the Career Starter Team. The successful candidate will perform a number of roles during their time on the scheme interacting with all areas of the Finance functions of the company.Rotations
Accounting : This team manages the financial compliance and statutory reporting for 18 Boeing legal entities across the UK and Ireland, working closely with our colleagues in other finance disciplines. Tasks in this team will include:Internal and external audits supportMonth-end activities including journal preparationPosting and control and assisting on group reporting requirementsReconciliation preparation and improvementIssues management and metrics reportingCommercial : This team manages our contractual relationships with our customers from initial requests for tender through contract negotiations, estimating and pricing to contract award and any ongoing customer and contract management through the contract lifecycle. Tasks in this team will include:Creation and execution of Proposal Plan of Action to ensure bid and proposal activity is performed in accordance with Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) required governance processNegotiation of contract terms and conditionsBeing the point of contact for our customersFinancial Operations (Fin Ops) : This team manages the financial performance reporting of our contracts, estimating and forecasting costs to complete on our long-term contracts, managing risks and opportunities with program managers and other disciplines. Tasks in this team will include:Supporting control account managers across BoeingLiaising with Project Managers and wider teams to capture forecast inputs to the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPandA) monthly forecast process for assigned contractsProvision of reporting to PMs / FPandA to explain variances against prior forecast and plan for assigned contractsColation of the Estimate at Complete (EAC) inputs to determine expected profitability of assigned contracts upon completionFinancial Planning and Analysis : The FPandA team manage the consolidated reporting and forecasting of Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash for our programs on a monthly, quarterly, annual and for our 5 year Long Range Business Plan. This team also manage our overhead costs to ensure affordability for our contracts. Tasks in this team will include:Consolidation of forecast inputs from Financial Operations on a monthly basis to facilitate creation of group reporting informationCollation of variance analysis for assigned business areas, partnering with the Financial Operations teams to ensure explanations are cohesive for group reportingPartnering with Business Development / Strategy and PMs during the annual Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) process to ensure financial objectives are consistent with the wider Business strategyMonthly tracking and reporting of overhead costs to provide insight and address deviations from forecastGraduate Scheme Benefits and Opportunities
