Act as a statutory consultee for planning applications with transport impact. Authorize and monitor highway works, including pre-application advice and construction management plans. Manage travel plans, planning applications, legal agreements, and highway adoptions. Help grow the service by identifying and securing third-party income. Deputize for the Highways Development Control Manager when needed. Engage effectively with customers and stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer service. Person Specifications Must Have Experience in highways development control and planning. Strong understanding of transport impact assessments. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Nice to Have Experience in identifying and securing third-party income. Familiarity with legal agreements related to highways. Knowledge of customer service excellence practices.
