This is a fantastic opportunity for a fabricator welder - STICK MMA to join the mechanical engineering division, supporting a process pipework installation and plant maintenance project in Bury St Edmunds. DutiesAs a suitably qualified and experienced fabricator welder with STICK MMA experience you will be working within a heavy industrial environment, carrying out maintenance works to production plant and equipment. The work is extremely varied but will typically include welding and fitting the full range of pipe sizes, specifically 6" diameter, 3mm - 12mm wall thickness steel pipework, either full STICK or TIG root with STICK cap and fill. Other duties will include fabricating and repairing chutes, stone catchers and machine guards from 5mm up to 25mm plate all STICK welded.
