Construction Site Manager

Location: Fallowfield
Rate: £250 – £260 per day
Duration: June to August (12 weeks)

Our client, a large and well-established building development firm, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project on a student accommodation site in Fallowfield.

This is a fast-paced project involving 28 apartments, with a strict completion deadline ahead of the new intake of residents. We are therefore looking for a candidate with proven experience in student accommodation refurbishments and the ability to deliver to tight timescales.

Construction Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all aspects of site management for the refurbishment of 28 apartments
• Ensuring the project is delivered on time and to a high standard
• Liaising with accommodation managers and keeping them informed of progress
• Managing contractors and subcontractors on site
• Maintaining and enforcing health and safety standards

Construction Site Manager Requirements:

• Previous experience managing student accommodation refurbishment projects
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Up-to-date health and safety knowledge and relevant certifications
