HGV Class 1 Driver (nights)

Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Forge Logistics LtdChorley, Lancashire, England, UKAt least 12 months experience required10-12 hour shifts working a 4/4 rota with extras available (subject to WTD regulations and availability)Mon-Fri shifts = £150 per shiftYearly Salary between £30000 - £42000Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) = £165New starters will begin on the current rate, but see an increase to £155 Mon-Fri; £170 (Sat,Sun and Bank Holiday) after probation.Job DescriptionFORGE LOGISTICS LTD is a veteran-owned and operated company based in Euxton. We have a long-established relationship with the world''s largest online retailer and are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team.What Does The Job Involve?·

Mainly night shifts - subject to change on a weekly basis·

Pure driving - no handling of the load·

4 on, 4 off rota (with extra days possible subject to your availability)·

Start times vary - your flexibility is required week-to-week·

All work scheduled via a special app·

Thorough vehicle checks·

Adherence to all driving and working time regulationsWhat Do We Offer?·

Mon-Fri, £150 per shift ; Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) , £165 per shift·

Full fleet of Iveco CNG trucks 71 and 72 plate·

Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts·

Monthly pay (PAY)·

3 month probation period·

Holiday pay and SSP·

On-going trainingWhat Do I Need?·

ESSENTIAL: to have held a CE licence for at least 1 year·

ESSENTIAL: consistent Class 1 work since passing / most recently (min. 6 months)·

ESSENTIAL: experience of commercial night driving·
