We’re hiring for a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team within a fast-paced, hybrid-working events business based in London. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant looking to take on a broad remit across month-end, reporting, team management, and process improvement.Salary:

£62,000 - £67,000Location:

PermanentThis role is offered on a hybrid basis, with just 2 days in the office a week.Key Duties:

Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure timely month-end closePost accruals, prepayments, and all necessary journal entriesComplete and review balance sheet reconciliationsDeliver event-specific financial reporting and support wider business analysisPrepare and submit weekly cash flow forecasts to senior leadershipOversee VAT returns across the UK and several European jurisdictionsSupport interim and year-end audits, liaising with external auditorsApprove staff expenses and oversee transactional finance activityManage finance queries and invoicing via the JIRA ticketing systemSupervise and develop Finance Analysts, encouraging team growth and collaborationAct as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across commercial, delivery, marketing, and tech teamsHelp implement and improve financial controls and reporting processesKey Skills:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years’ industry experienceStrong technical accounting knowledge, with hands-on experience preparing management accountsProficient in NetSuite and Excel (including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, pivot tables)Experience managing or mentoring junior team members is desirableKnowledge of VAT across multiple jurisdictionsExcellent communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
