Audit Senior

This role offers the chance to take a lead position within the audit team, working with an impressive portfolio of clients in the Creative, Media and Technology sector. The position combines hands-on audit delivery with client interaction, team leadership, and opportunities for professional growth.The successful candidate will take ownership of high-quality audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and firm procedures, drafting financial statements, management letters, and letters of representation. They will supervise teams of up to five staff, delegate effectively, and provide feedback and appraisals to support development.Working closely with audit managers, the Audit Senior will communicate progress, raise issues, and make recommendations to improve client accounting systems and controls. The role is client-facing, requiring regular travel to client sites and flexibility around client working hours.Outside of audit delivery, the environment offers a supportive culture with opportunities for networking, social events, and involvement in charitable initiatives. There is also a strong commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

Lead audits from planning to completion for a range of clients in the Creative, Media and Technology sector.

Prepare audit files, draft financial statements, management letters, and letters of representation.

Supervise, brief, and delegate to junior staff, managing teams of up to five.

Provide clear feedback and appraisals to support team development.

Advise clients on improvements to systems and controls.

Stay up to date with auditing standards, accounting regulations, and professional developments.

Key Skills and Experience

ACA or ACCA part-qualified.

Experience running audits from planning to completion.

Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to accounting and audit.

Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to change.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Experience with listed audits and data analytics tools desirable.
