We re looking for a proactive and skilled Workshop Supervisor to support our Workshop Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of our busy workshop!You ll coordinate production activities, oversee schedules, and lead a talented team of joiners, machinists, and finishers. This is a hands-on role where your leadership, problem-solving skills, and commitment to high standards will help us maintain our reputation for outstanding results and customer service.Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily workshop activities, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocationOversee job boards, work instructions, and production schedules to meet deadlines and quality expectationsLead, motivate, and develop workshop staff, promoting a culture of safety, pride in craftsmanship, and teamworkConduct regular health, safety, and environmental checks, ensuring compliance and high housekeeping standardsSupport quality control processes to ensure all finished products meet company and client specificationsProvide training, guidance, and mentoring to team members and apprenticesWork closely with the Workshop Manager and wider business to resolve issues and drive continuous improvementAbout You

Proven experience in a joinery or manufacturing workshop environment (supervisory or team lead experience desirable)Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and workshop proceduresExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to motivate, coach, and support a diverse teamDetail-focused with a passion for delivering work of the highest standardPractical problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do approachWhat We Offer
