Location: Bury (M25) | Position: Maths Teacher | Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time | Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm | Pay: -150.00 - -210.00 per day

About the role:

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic full-time Maths Teacher to support students within a welcoming mainstream secondary school in the Bury area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping young people thrive and reach their full potential in an inclusive classroom environment.

Whether you already have experience teaching Maths to students aged 11-16, including those with additional needs, or you''re an ECT looking to build valuable classroom experience, we would love to hear from you.

Teacher Role Overview

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  * Support and differentiate for students with SEN, ensuring inclusive access to the Maths curriculum
  * Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support development
  * Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
  * Work closely with SENCOs, pastoral teams, and parents to support student wellbeing and achievement
  * Contribute to wider school life, including meetings, planning, and school activities

Experience, Training & Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  * Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
  * Strong understanding of SEN/SEND and inclusive teaching strategies
  * GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
  * Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided)
  * Prevent, behaviour management, and FGM training (can be provided)

Requirements

• Right to Work in the UK
  * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  * Two professional references covering the last two years
