OneSource Global Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading a global team to deliver cost optimization, supplier management, and contract excellence. The position oversees sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and the development of contracts that align with customer goals and budgets. It serves as the central link between customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions and accurate forecasts. Influences and inspires others through being authentic, self-aware, curious, confident, and persuasive while building trust and goodwillKey Responsibilities:Manage global team dedicated to large enterprise customer accountResponsible for documenting the costs for all vendors, as well as generating monthly cost reports to present to stakeholdersDevelop cost-benefit analyses which are used to optimize spendServe as the liaison between customer, employer and vendorsCalculate metrics for analysis as well as consolidate large amounts of data into concise targeted informational summaries and reportsWork with customers on their feedback, monitored and audited dataRequest client approvals for contract purchasesSuccessfully managed/deliver supplier contracts within budget and hit in line with targeted savingsProficient in making accurate forecasts to meet customer’s demand, including understanding customer goals and budgetSourcing of suppliers and supplier qualificationSourcing, negotiating, and procurement of service contracts in support of OneSource Enterprise contracts and asset management portfolioDeveloping, deploying and awarding supplier contracts and agreements (RFP)Engage in all aspects of supplier management with a focus on improving profitability and delivering customer satisfactionIdentifying appropriate service coverage for different customers or types of equipment and opportunities to expand our service platform strategyStrategic Supplier Management - ensuring good relationships with our supply base while acting as an escalation path for supplier issues across the OneSource Enterprise portfolioInteracts closely with suppliers and Quality to resolve quality issuesConduct routine supplier meetings to develop and maintain supplier relationshipUse data to drive decisions and provide market/competitive feedback while supporting the field organization and providing visibility and accessibility to supplier metrics, tools and processesBasic Qualifications:Degree in BusinessEquivalent 5+ years of procurement experiencePreferred Qualifications:Management experience in global environmentMust have a proven record of strong negotiation skills and buying strategies culminating in positive financial resultsThorough knowledge of developing, deploying and awarding service contracts (RFP)Deep understanding of vendor/supplier communications and best practicesProven ability to ensure cost effective services arrangementsStrong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within a teamExcellent motivational, communication (oral/written), presentation and influencing skillsMust possess confidence and assertivenessExcellent critical thinking/ analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong execution and follow through20% of travel may be involvedPerkinElmer is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
