Our client, a leader in the fa ade and cladding industry, is seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. About the Role This is a senior position requiring an expert who can take full commercial ownership of large-scale, complex cladding and fa ade projects from tender stage through to final account. Your specialist knowledge of cladding systems is essential. Key Duties and Responsibilities As a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Hamilton First, you will: Commercial Management: Oversee all commercial aspects of multiple cladding and fa ade projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and meet profitability targets. Contract Administration: Manage all contractual matters, including review and negotiation of terms, conditions, and variations (EOTs and CVOs) under standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC). Procurement: Lead the procurement process for all materials, subcontractors, and suppliers specifically related to cladding systems, ensuring value for money and quality. Cost Control and Reporting: Prepare detailed cost value reconciliations (CVRs), forecasts, budget tracking, and regular financial reports for senior management.
