Work with a global team to schedule, plan, manage all materials and critical logistics activities.Maintain communications with operations, procurement, logistics, and distribution. Creating integrated processes to streamline supply chains.Interact with sales, engineering, and facilities management on production schedules and expected deliverables.Manage and direct the logistics specialists, including training, hiring, and coaching.Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks to guide supply chain planning and forecasting; monitoring planned vs. actual performance and presents results to senior management.What You Have
Supply Chain Management - Level Extensive Experience:
Advises others on capacity issues at various points in the supply chain.Consults on supply chain network design projects or processes.Quantifies and evaluates benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.Participates in joint planning, process design/redesign with clients and partners.
Inventory Management - Level Extensive Experience
Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements.Applies systems and processes to identify and coordinate inventory requirements; resolves conflicts.Reviews reports used for inventory management to find out related problems.Ensures corporate inventory management processes and procedures are adhered to.
Logistics Management - Level Extensive Experience
Manages logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning.Develops and analyzes logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.Consults on all major logistics processes, their interactions and operational requirements.
Supplier Management - Level Extensive Experience
Monitors supplier performance; works to resolve discrepancies between performance and agreements.Builds and maintains partnerships with multiple and/or large suppliers.Evaluates issues and terminates supplier relationships as appropriate; works with legal departments.
Decision Making And Critical Thinking - Level Expert
Analyzes and discusses alternatives with multiple stakeholders.Develops team in decision making tools to support facility planning and execution.
Effective Communications - Level Extensive Experience
Reviews others\'' writing or presentations and provides feedback and coaching.Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.Confident with communicating with all levels of the business and external customers.
Performance Management - Level Extensive Experience
Gives continuing feedback, recognizes achievement, and recommends improvement.Defines and agrees upon performance goals and objectives with associates.Identifies performance problem areas early on and defines specific improvement activities.Adjusts and communicates performance objectives as necessary for team objectives.
Additional Information
There is up to a 25% travel requirement - Visiting suppliers, Other CAT facilities and customers.Seniority level
