Senior UX Interaction Designer
On behalf of the Department for Education, we are looking for a Senior UX Interaction Designer Inside IR35 for a 6 months contract based Hybrid Glasgow As a Senior UX interaction Designer, your main responsibilities will be: Essential:. Communicate and influence design decisions: Clearly explain complex ideas, document decisions and risks, challenge assumptions, and build stakeholder consensus.. Design inclusive, accessible, and ethical services: Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance while considering diverse user needs, contexts, and sustainability.. Apply strategic, user-centred design thinking: Align design with organisational goals, shape solutions using constraints, and contribute to design patterns.. Collaborate and lead within teams: Facilitate workshops, work across disciplines, manage stakeholders, and lead design activities while supporting others.. Use evidence-driven, iterative design practices: Analyse research and data, prototype and test ideas, and continuously improve designs in agile environments.. Plan and conduct user research effectively: Select appropriate methods, include diverse users, synthesise findings, embed insights into delivery, and manage research quality independently.
