Insite Recruitment UK and US is seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join our leadership team. Location: Tunbridge Wells area or Central London (Hybrid working available). Reporting to the Private Client Tax Director. This role is the right-hand to the Private Client Tax Director and plays a pivotal part in shaping growth and delivering outstanding service to a prestigious client base.We are a flexible and rapidly growing accounting practice seeking an experienced Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join our leadership team as the right-hand to our Private Client Tax Director. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to play a pivotal role in shaping our continued expansion while delivering outstanding service to our prestigious client base.Key Responsibilities

Act as deputy to the Private Client Tax Director, supporting strategic planning and business development initiativesLead the growth strategy for the Private Client Tax division, identifying new opportunities and market segmentsDrive fee growth through enhanced service delivery and client retentionSupport the Director in setting departmental objectives and monitoring performanceOversee a premium portfolio of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientsManage complex multi-jurisdictional tax matters including UK and international structuresHandle sophisticated trust and estate planning arrangementsProvide expert advice on residence, domicile, and remittance basis planningLead on significant tax investigations and dispute resolution mattersProvide technical leadership across the full spectrum of private client tax mattersReview and approve complex tax computations, planning strategies, and advisory reportsStay current with legislative changes and ensure team compliance with evolving regulationsDevelop and implement best practice procedures and quality control measuresMentor and develop senior staff, managers, and junior team membersLead recruitment efforts to support the practice''s growth objectivesDesign and deliver technical training programsFoster a collaborative culture focused on excellence and client serviceManage performance reviews and career development planningBuild and maintain relationships with key clients and professional contactsRepresent the firm at industry events and networking functionsLead pitch presentations for significant new client opportunitiesCollaborate with other service lines to deliver comprehensive client solutionsContribute to thought leadership through articles, seminars, and technical publicationsEssential Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

ACA/CTA qualified with 8+ years of private client tax experienceSignificant experience in a senior role within a reputable practiceExperience with managing complex HNWI/UHNWI client portfoliosStrong background in trust and estate planningExperience with international tax planning and cross-border structuresTechnical Skills

Expert knowledge of UK personal taxation, including complex residence and domicile mattersDeep understanding of trust taxation, IHT planning, and estate administrationExperience with non-UK domiciled clients and remittance basis planningKnowledge of corporate and partnership taxation affecting private clientsFamiliarity with offshore structures and international tax treatiesLeadership and Commercial Skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teamsStrong commercial acumen with experience managing PandL responsibilityExcellent client relationship management and business development skillsOutstanding communication and presentation abilitiesStrategic thinking with ability to drive growth and operational improvementsWhat We Offer
