Electrician OTE 40k + benefits

Role: Electrician
Location: Evesham
Shift: 8am to 5pm
Salary: -35,000 Basic + 15% Shift Allowance + On-Call Package (-40,250 OTE before OT)

Are you a qualified Electrician or an experienced Electrical Improver looking for a stable, long-term career with a national leader? We are recruiting for a MoJ Company, one of the UK''s largest public service providers, to maintain the critical electrical infrastructure within a secure environment in Evesham.

This is not your standard domestic or site role; it is a professional maintenance position offering excellent work-life balance, guaranteed shift premiums, and a lucrative on-call structure.

The Financials:

• Base Salary: -35,000 per annum.
• Shift Allowance: An additional 15% of your basic salary for shift work.
• On-Call Standby: -130.44 per week standby payment (-12.12 Weekdays / -34.92 Weekends & Bank Holidays).
• Guaranteed Overtime: Call-outs are paid at a minimum of 2 hours at single time, even if the task takes 10 minutes.
• Holidays: 24 days + Bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenance (PPM) across the estate.
• Active fault-finding and problem-solving on complex electrical systems.
• Like-for-like replacements and minor works in accordance with BS7671.
• Ensuring all systems are safe, compliant, and functional to maintain a secure environment for staff and residents.
• Recording all inspection and test results accurately using digital systems.
• Assisting the Responsible/Authorised person and carrying out escorting duties when required.

What we''re looking for:

• Qualifications: City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2/3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• Regulations: 18th Edition preferred (17th Edition considered with a commitment to upskill).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, PPM operations, and Electricity at Work Regulations.
• Attributes: Ability to work at heights, use your initiative, and stay calm under pressure.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Fire Alarms and CCTV systems is a major plus.
