Senior Business Development Manager / telecommunications /telcomms / broadband My client is seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the education broadband sector. You will lead and mentor a team of up to 12 sales and support staff, balancing commercial objectives with the company s mission to serve schools across the UK. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Business Development Manager Develop and deliver strategic sales plans aligned with company goals. Drive new business opportunities and strengthen long-term client relationships. Lead, coach, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Oversee the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. Monitor performance, manage budgets, and report on KPIs. Stay ahead of industry trends, DfE requirements, and competitor activity. About You Significant experience in senior business development/sales leadership, ideally in telecoms, broadband, or education/public sector. Proven record of exceeding revenue targets and managing successful teams. Strong strategic, negotiation, and consultative selling skills. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and leadership abilities. Skilled in CRM and data-driven sales management. Desirable Experience in EdTech or education technology.
