Attention all Senior Structural Engineers!We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a leading Civil and Structural engineering company, in a permanent position. You will be required to work in a hybrid arrangement from our clients Edinburgh office.This is a great opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects, with an experienced and motivated team.-Competitive salary from 42,000- 58,000 (depending on experience).-Hybrid working arrangement.Key Responsibilities:-Lead and coordinate projects with high-quality technical design.-Produce technical design documents (sketches, calculations, specifications, and reports).-Review and approve reports, designs, and calculations per quality procedures.-Conduct structural surveys and provide findings, conclusions, and recommendations.-Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and the design team.-Plan site investigations and prepare reports.-Attend and record actions in design and site meetings.What we are looking for:Essential:-Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent qualification).-Competent in designing structures in concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry.-Able to use computer design software packages.-Good understanding of CDM regulations and responsibilities of a designer.-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.-Chartered Engineer.Desirable:-Must ideally be 3-4 years post chartership, with building experience.
