About the Role You will play a key role in managing and reducing aged debt, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the wider finance function.Key Responsibilities:Proactively managing debtor balances to reduce aged debtContacting overdue accounts daily via phone, email, and written communicationResolving account queries in collaboration with internal teamsIssuing court proceedings for unpaid debts and enforcing judgmentsPreparing statements and detailed account breakdownsTaking payments (on-site and over the phone) and issuing receiptsPosting receipts and payments to ledgersProcessing outgoing payments (CHAPS/BACS via HSBCnet)Supporting the accounts team during busy periodsPrevious experience issuing court proceedings would be highly advantageous.
