Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to oversee our Learning Disability care home in North East London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing care homes and have excellent working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Ensure high standards of care and compliance with CQC regulations.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for residents.
- Manage and support a team of care staff, promoting a positive and professional work environment.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to ensure coordinated care delivery.
- Oversee budget management and resource allocation within the home.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain quality assurance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, preferably within the Learning Disability sector.
- In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
