This is a key role in a small team where you ll have a real impact on the business s smooth running.Key Responsibilities Maintain and reconcile sales and purchase ledgersProcess invoices, payments, and receiptsManage bank reconciliations and credit card statementsPrepare and submit VAT returnsProcess weekly and monthly payroll for site and office staffMonitor cash flow and produce regular reports for the management teamSupport budget and project cost trackingLiaise with external accountants for year-end accounts and HMRC submissionsHandle general administrative duties related to finance and compliance About You Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally in the construction or trades sectorProficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks)Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsConfident with Microsoft Excel and basic reportingAbility to work independently and
