A well-regarded two-form entry primary school on the outskirts of Chichester City Centre is looking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in their first stages of education. This is a temporary role at the moment but could become permeant.

andnbsp;Set just outside the city centre the school is known for its calm atmosphere and strong sense of community. Pupils are cheerful, well-behaved, and eager to learn. Staff work closely together to create a supportive environment where children are encouraged to do their best.

The Role:

andnbsp;Youandrsquo;ll be working with Early Years pupils, setting up the classroom in the morning ,supporting learning and occasionally working with small groups or individual children who may need extra help.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For Weandrsquo;re keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have experience working with infant children
• Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2 andndash; desirable but not essential)
• Are confident working as part of a team
• Can build positive working relationships with pupils and staff
• Are calm, reliable and able to adapt to the needs of the children

Responsibilities:

• Support learning in and EYFS classroom
• Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs
• Help promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Assist with planning and delivering small group activities
• Contribute to the wider life of the school
