Position Summary: Working in a workshop attached to a larger operational facility this role will be to strip, service and rebuild heavy diesel engines as part of a refurbishment project. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Full strip of engine including turbos, gaskets and sump Use hand and power tools to strip/fit component parts of the engine body Conduct visual inspection of component parts such as gaskets, seals, values and injectors Rebuild of engine including post rebuild inspections to verify integrity and performance Fault finding and rectification as requiredPerson Profile: NVQ Level 3 within a relevant engineering/mechanical discipline is required Experience with diesel engines preferably Cummins Experience completing full strips and rebuilds of heavy diesel enginesShifts: Monday - Thursday Hours Per Week: 40 Hourly Rate: 18.86 -20.50 PAYE dependant on experience (Umbrella rates available)
