Stores OperativeLocation: SittingbourneFull time/PermanentA fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Stores Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment based in Sittingbourne. This is a hands-on, varied role that involves picking, packing, stock control, goods-in/out, and working closely with the Stores Team Leader to ensure the smooth operation of the Stores Department.Key Responsibilities:Pick and pack goods for dispatch, including boxes and crates, drive accessories, and equipment.Receive goods inwards, unload deliveries, and place stock into appropriate locations.Operate Forklift Trucks for loading/unloading vehicles and general stores duties.Maintain accurate inventory records using stock control systems and assist in stock takes.Complete carrier paperwork and ensure orders are prepared accurately for dispatch.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering to Health and Safety procedures.Support the Stores Team Leader with daily operations and act as a point of contact during their absence.Liaise with Sales and Production teams to maintain high levels of operational efficiency.Carry out general maintenance checks on Forklift Trucks and ensure all equipment is in good working order.Assist other departments with tasks as required and approved by management.Skills and Experience Required:Previous experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment (experience in a Stores department is desirable).Valid Forklift Truck exp
