Main Duties:

• Transport goods via a fixed trunking route between Motherwell and Lockerbie, typically completing two round trips per shift.
• Ensure timely and efficient deliveries, adhering to scheduled departure and arrival times to maintain the logistics chain.
• Follow all road safety laws and driving regulations, including tachograph and driver hours compliance.
• Secure and oversee the safe loading and unloading of goods, ensuring load security and minimal risk of damage in transit.
• Complete necessary documentation and reporting, including delivery records, vehicle defects, and incident reports if applicable.
• Conduct pre-operational vehicle checks to ensure the HGV is roadworthy and compliant with safety regulations before each journey.

• Proven Experience in a Similar Role
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification & Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum of 6 Penalty Points
• Strong Time Management & Communication Skills
