Due to continued success, they are seeking an Estimator to join their team.This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Leicestershire office with hybrid working (3 days'' office/site, 2 days'' remote).Your new role As an Estimator, your responsibilities will include:Preparing detailed cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor costsAssisting in the preparation of competitive bids to allow final reviewPerforming quantity take-offs of civil works (structures, earthworks, pipelines etc.) from design plansAnalysing potential risks, challenges and uncertainties during the estimation process and incorporating contingency plans or pricingCollaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and servicesEnsuring all estimates comply with local regulations, safety standards and project requirementsSuggesting cost-effective alternatives and value engineering strategiesCoordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity of scope, costs and timelines.What you''ll need to succeed In order to be successful,
