Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive primary school near Wood Green, Haringey, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term position ideal for someone experienced in working with children who require tailored behavioural support.As a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor, you will support a child with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping them to access the curriculum, regulate emotions, and develop positive relationships.You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral teams to ensure the pupil receives consistent and effective support throughout the day.Previous experience supporting children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs is highly desirable for this role, along with a strong understanding of safeguarding practices and behaviour intervention strategies.
