This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale high voltage infrastructure and grid connections, ensuring the delivery of projects from design through to energisation.Manchester / Yorkshire or Newcastle is where clients offices and would be the ideal locations for candidate hotspotsKey Responsibilities:Developing HV and EHV project initial functional requirements into compliant, cost-effective engineering solutionsManaging the development and delivery of HV and EHV projects (cable, overhead, plant, and civil) to meet time, cost, safety, and quality standardsInterfacing with customers and internal/external resources to develop and deliver HV and EHV projectsUndertaking the role of CDM Designer and/or Principal Designer for developed HV and EHV projectsEffectively communicating with internal engineering and industrial resourcesCoordinating external service providers and administering commercial aspectsJob Requirements:Minimum HNC in Electrical EngineeringExperience managing large and complex HV and EHV substation projects throughout the entire project lifecycleStrong understanding of electrical transmission and distribution plant items operations, controls, and associated systems such as AIS/GIS switchgear, Protection and Co
