Supply Desk are delighted to be working with a highly respected Grammar School in Medway, Kent, seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity until December 2025, with potential for further extension.

This is an exciting role for a vibrant, adaptable, and resilient Music specialist who is confident teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5 and eager to make a strong impact from day one. Youandrsquo;ll be joining a dedicated and collaborative department at a school that values both academic excellence and creative expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality Music lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
• Inspire a love of Music in students of all abilities through inclusive and creative teaching
• Plan and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse student body
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
• Use technology and innovative strategies to enhance teaching and learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture
• Get involved in wider school life, including extracurricular music activities and performances

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• A relevant degree in Music or Music Education
• Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level, including up to KS5
• Adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute fully to school life
• Excellent behaviour management skills and a proactive classroom presence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to professional growth and teamwork
