Peterborough - Team Manager - Children in Care Team - 45 p/h Umbrella An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Manager to join the Children in Care (CIC) Team with Peterborough City Council. Duties and Responsibilities: To lead and manage a team of Social Workers to deliver high-quality services for children in care. To provide supervision, guidance, and performance management to ensure effective casework practice. To oversee complex cases, ensuring robust care planning and timely decision-making. To work collaboratively with foster carers, residential providers, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes. To ensure compliance with statutory requirements, local policies, and best practice standards. To promote a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement within the team. Working Pattern: Hybrid working arrangement. Pay Rate: 45 per hour Umbrella. Essential Requirements: Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent. Social Work England Registration. Substantial experience in Children''s Social Care, including management or supervisory experience. Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
