Mechanical Fitter
Key Responsibilities:Performing mechanical fitting tasks on marine vesselsConducting maintenance, repairs and installations on various equipmentEnsuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulationsCollaborating with other team members to ensure project targets are metDocumenting and reporting work completed and any issues encounteredAdhering to project deadlines and maintaining a high level of workmanshipJob Requirements:Experience in shipbuilding/shiprepair or ex Royal NavyStrong mechanical fitting skillsRelevant qualifications (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship)Current SC Clearance is essential - will require confirmation form UKSVWorking Hours:Normal dayshift: 08:05 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday, 08:05 to 12:05 FridayOvertime available project dependantMaybe a requirement for AWP (Alternative Working Pattern): 12-hour shifts on a 21-day rotationOne rate all hours - 39/h Umb co or 29.12/h PAYE plus 3.51/h holiday pay (can be accrued or advanced)If you have the necessary skills and are looking for a challenging role within the marine industry, we would love to hear from you!
