The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils as they prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2. Responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly

• Creating an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1

• Strong classroom management skills

• A passion for delivering high-quality learning experiences

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
