The setting is centred on ensuring children are able to access a broad and balanced curriculum, enabling students to receive social and emotional support and preparing them to transition back into mainstream education. The school is seeking an empathetic team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right SEMH Teaching Assistant/TA. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will bring a therapeutic skill set and empower young people to achieve both academically and personally. The position will involve working with students aged 4-11 who are unable to attend mainstream education. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
