Electrical Supervisor - Defence Sector

Location: Sevenoaks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Contract: Temp to Perm

Salary: £46,000 - £48,000 per annum

Hourly Rate While Temp: Approx. £24.61 per hour (Umbrella)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading defence sector organisation based in Sevenoaks. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to step into a long-term role within a high-security and highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of electrical engineers across a secure site

   

• Ensure all works meet safety, compliance, and industry standards

   

• Manage and review PPMs, reactive tasks, and electrical documentation

   

• Participate in an on-call rota every other week (after onboarding)

   

• Support operations involving aircraft and submarine systems

   

• Liaise with contractors, clients, and internal project teams

   

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation

   

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations

   

• Ex05 & Ex06 (Dust Atmospheres)

   

• Full UK driving licence

   

• DBS check

   

• Able to obtain and pass full Security Clearance (essential for the role)

   

Desirable:

• City & Guilds 2391-52 (Inspection & Testing)

   

• Authorised Person (AP) Electrical
