The role is to support the Manager in the day-to-day management of the home and to deputies for the Manager in their absence. The key responsibility of this post is to have complete oversight of the expected standard of care within the home, to lead the team on the floor. The Care Manager would use the Person-Centred Software system and the Radar system to achieve the required expectation. The Role To assist the manager in the running of the home in an efficient and caring manner To be responsible for care standards in the home. To be directly responsible to the Home Manager, or their appointed representative in respect of all duties performed. Subject to the terms and conditions of the contract of employment. Assisting with maintaining adequate staffing levels and the correct mix of staff Ensure that all required records are kept regarding the requirements of the Local Authority, the Health Authority and central government legislation. Support the Home Manager to maintain high levels of occupancy. To be aware of, and take responsibility for fire prevention procedure
