Position: Head of Customer Solutions

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £70,000 - £70,000 per annum

We''re working with a dynamic logistics company seeking a Head of Customer Solutions to help drive strategic client growth. This is a solution-focused role working closely with sales, commercial, and operational teams to deliver innovative supply chain strategies to both new and existing customers.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor-leading customer workshops, co-creating value-driven solutions, and supporting complex logistics transformations. You''ll manage cross-functional teams and develop tailored proposals that deliver measurable client value-cost reduction, service improvement, and enhanced operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales teams to identify and qualify customer opportunitiesLead customer strategy workshops to understand supply chain challengesDesign and deliver customised value propositionsManage end-to-end project lifecycle from concept to proposal deliveryCoordinate cross-functional solution design teamsSupport business case development and RFx responsesHelp transition solutions into delivery and measure client value

Candidate Requirements

5-10 years'' experience in strategic supply chain transformationBackground in freight forwarding, 3PL/4PL, logistics or supply chain consultingProven project leadership and people management skillsWillingness to travel (UK and International)Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering (preferred)
