Overview

Locum Consultant in Burns and Plastic Surgery (BandP) with Special Interests in Burns, to be based at the Manchester Burns and Plastic Surgery Service (adult burns at Wythenshawe Hospital; paediatric burns at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital). This fixed-term locum post suits a CCT-holder with interests in adult and paediatric burn care; additional interests in paediatric plastic surgery or skin cancer are welcome. Recent experience in adult and paediatric burns and collaborative multi-disciplinary team working are essential criteria.Responsibilities

Join the team of twenty-seven plastic surgery consultants and support the delivery of centre-level burn care in adult and paediatric services.Participate in the 1:8 on-call commitment on the burns consultant rota (which currently includes plastic surgery at the Royal Manchester Childrenrens Hospital).Qualifications

CCT-holder with interests in adult and paediatric burn care; additional interests in paediatric plastic surgery or skin cancer welcomed.Recent experience in adult and paediatric burns and collaborative multi-disciplinary team working are essential.About the Trust
