Based in Chiswick, Greater London our client is looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. Candidates will need to have experience of working with children under 5 years of age and a real passion for early years.Person Specification:NVQ Childcare qualification at level 3 Experience of working with children under 5 years of ageKnowledge EYFS statutory frameworkBasic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)Some of the responsibilities of Nursery nurse will include: Adhering to nursery Policies and Procedures.Compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage, planning age appropriate activities.Effectively working as part of a team.Key worker responsibilities, keeping of development records and observations.Keeping accident, medication and risk assessment records.Participating in parent evenings, and children s outings.Attendance of staff meetings as arranged by the Nursery Manager.Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
