Pay: -20.12 p/h + overtime and enhancements. Up to -4,000 extra per annum.

Job Overview for the Coachbuilder
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Coachbuilder to join a busy and well-established bus and coach engineering team in Norwich.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual with strong bus, coach, or automotive body repair experience to work on a modern fleet, carrying out high-quality structural and body repairs following accident damage and wear and tear.
You will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles are returned to a safe, professional, and roadworthy condition.

Key Responsibilities of the Coachbuilder

• Repair and restore buses following accident damage or wear, ensuring full safety and quality compliance
• Carry out structural repairs, bodywork, and panel replacement
• Inspect vehicles for faults, defects, and deterioration
• Complete maintenance and repair work to company and manufacturer standards
• Work closely with engineering and workshop teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
• Safely use tools, machinery, and equipment in line with procedures
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety and industry regulations

Key Requirements of the Coachbuilder

• Proven experience as a Coachbuilder / Body Repair Technician (bus, coach, HGV, or automotive background considered)
• Strong ability to repair and rebuild vehicle bodies to a high standard
• Good understanding of materials, fabrication, and repair techniques
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred (not essential)
