Our client is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Blackburn workshop, offering an excellent platform to showcase your expertise in a professional environment that prioritises quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Competitive basic salary ranging from -28,000 to -43,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
• Uncapped earning potential with an achievable OTE of up to -52,500, including productivity and efficiency bonuses

• Full-time, permanent position with consistent working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus one in three Saturday mornings

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle health checks and comprehensive pre-delivery inspections on both new and used cars
• Perform routine servicing and repairs following manufacturer guidelines as a Vehicle Technician
• Fit additional accessories as requested by customers
• Carry out minor repairs and electrical/mechanical diagnoses
• Conduct road tests to accurately identify and resolve faults
• Complete all workshop documentation and relevant paperwork with precision
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and efficient service delivery

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic within a dealership or similar environment
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification is essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail as a Vehicle Technician
• Ability to perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics
• Experience working with various vehicle brands is advantageous but not essential, as full brand training will be provided
• A proactive approach to ongoing learning and professional development
