This role is a key member of the site''s leadership team and is responsible for all areas of finance on site including managing and developing the finance team, reporting and understanding accurate accounts and working closely with the operations and commercial teams to influence and drive a profitable business in a food manufacturing business. Key Accountabilities: Manage and develop the onsite finance teamOwn all aspects of site financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, completed to a high standard and within the required timeframeEnsure accurate production of weekly and monthly PandLs, with commentary and insightsComplete variance analysis of site operational and commercial performance against benchmarks including budget and prior year, with understanding of key driversHave ownership of the site''s balance sheet including completing monthly reconciliations and ensuring the safeguarding of the company''s assetsWork with the central audit teams to ensure the site''s compliance with, and integrity of, SOx requirements and internal finance controlsComplete, submit, understand, and act upon daily and weekly KPIs for the siteSupport and challenge spend control on site including labour and overheadsBe a business partner to the site''s commercial team: delivering accurate costings, driving inflation recovery and maintaining pricing modelsLead the site team in completing periodic budget and forecast reports with clear assumptions and ambitious targetsSupport cost
