Overview

We are looking for a skilled EPR Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the delivery of technology systems supporting the rollout of the Oracle Millennium EPR system across South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT), George Eliot Hospital (GEH), and Out of Hospital Services in Warwickshire.Job responsibilities

Lead delivery of EPR related technology servicesAttendance at project meetingsContribute to the specification, design, development and implementation of our EPR strategy to support the aims and objectives of both Innovate and our customersCommunicate complex technical system matters to senior non-technical staff clearly and in a manner whereby they are able to fully understand the issues and implicationsNegotiate at a senior level and be a major influence in the decision-making processes for all aspects of EPR technical deliveryWork closely with technology operations to develop and implement strategies and architectures to provide infrastructure support and services in line with best practise methodologiesMake recommendations for strategic direction aligned to EPR future stateNegotiate effectively with others and be persuasive, sometimes in contentious situations, to drive change and enable achievement of EPR project milestonesIdentify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with the use of EPR technology and associated platforms and servicesCollaborate with the ICT team and wider business to agree on the design and implementation of a holistic process of continual service improvementDevelop, design and implement technical and procedural documentation standards relating to the design and delivery of the Oracle Millenium EPRSuccessful delivery of EPR technical infrastructure to time and budgetTimely and accurate reporting to project management teamsDelivery of an exceptional customer service experienceProactively develop and implement continual service improvementFoster and demonstrate an inclusive team culture focusing on service excellence and exceptional performanceManage delegated EPR budgetsPerson specification

What we are looking for in our peopleEssentialSolid and demonstrable experience of leading a team of technology specialistsExtensive experience with automated software deployment and managementWide exposure to the Windows desktop environmentAn in depth understanding of LAN/WAN/WLAN technologiesA passion for excellence in service delivery and customer satisfactionFlexibility around working hours will be necessary, especially during periods of peak activity e.g. dress rehearsal and go-live.Appropriate means of transport to travel between sites.DesirableOracle Millennium experience is desirable but not essentialEmployer details
