FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with growing fintech firm in the West End to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role within the finance team, supporting across all finance activities, assisting with cashflow, budgeting, and treasury operations, managing ledgers and reconciliations, and contributing to month end reporting, variance analysis, and stakeholder reporting.Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Financial Controller across all finance activities of the businessPreparing the annual budget, monitoring performance against budget, and analysing variancesAssisting with cashflow management and preparing cashflow forecastsManaging the month end close processPreparing internal and external reports for lenders, senior management, and other stakeholdersOverseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger functionsReviewing accruals and prepaymentsPreparing VAT returns and ensuring complianceMaintaining and supervising the fixed asset registerAssisting with treasury operations and general banking activities including monthly reconciliationsUndertaking ad hoc financial modelling as requiredCandidate Requirements

AAT qualified or studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (preferred) with A Levels as a minimumMinimum 4 years'' experience in a similar role, ideally within financial services though not essentialStrong IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Experience with Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll desirableExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, driven, confident, and a strong team playerAble to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
