Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Demand Planner for an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall. This is an on-site permanent role working Monday to Friday 06:30am to 4:30pm.Benefits

This is an instrumental role as a Demand Planner that will see you creating and maintaining forecast models for products and customers by ensuring business intelligence and forecast information is gathered from various departments. You will also liaise with retailers and customers for general demands and promotional plans.Experience and skills required

Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and systemsExperience of constraint planning and scheduling within food manufacturingPrevious planning or scheduling experienceData and statistical analysisStrong presentation skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsResponsibilities

Build and manage short-term forecasts (weeks 0-5), ensuring accuracyAnalyse sales trends, demand drivers, and promotions to improve forecast reliabilityCollaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and retailers to align demand planningCoordinate seasonal, promotional, and new product (NPD) planning and evaluationCreate and publish KPIs, including forecast accuracy and promotional performanceSupport Production Planning and MRP alignment, providing cover when neededIf you are keen on progressing your career with a long-standing and reputable company, please email your CV via this job board or contact Wise Employment Plymouth.
