Role LocationThis role is based in our London office, with the expectation to be onsite 2-3 days a week.

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a central role in this journey—bringing strategic insight, financial expertise, and leadership to help guide the organization''s next phase of growth.

This role offers autonomy to influence key decisions and drive change, with exposure to transformation programmes and the opportunity to turn creative thinking into actionable results.

Responsibilities

Strategic Thinking: Able to see the big picture, anticipate future trends, and translate strategy into actionable financial plans.

Analysis: Strong ability in financial analysis and complex modelling.

Business Acumen: Understands commercial drivers, market dynamics, and the financial impact of operational decisions.

Influence and Collaboration: Builds strong relationships, negotiates effectively, and facilitates collaboration across the organisation.

Results-Oriented: Sets ambitious goals, drives accountability, and delivers high-quality outcomes under pressure.

Innovation: Embraces new technologies, methods, and data analytics to enhance FPandA capabilities.

About YouYou are driven to make an impact and shape the future of your team and the organisation. You thrive in cyclical environments with peak periods during budgeting and forecasting. You bring strategic thinking, strong data interpretation skills, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.

Proven track record in FPandA or senior finance roles in complex, fast-paced environments.

Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Excel, financial modelling, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); strong ERP system experience

Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks applicable to the sector.

Desirable Skills

Experience conducting FPandA for multinational organisations.

Exposure to transformation programmes.

Experience in a relevant industry (e.g., Tech, Research, SaaS, DaaS, etc.); proven ability to adapt to different environments.
