RIPOSTA .The opportunity at NHS Resolution involves leading the Finance function, supporting strategy and the business plan, and managing the Finance and Procurement teams. You will oversee financial management of indemnity schemes and participate in organisational-wide projects and initiatives.Responsibilities
Report to the CFO and lead the Finance function, supporting the organisation1s strategy and business plan.Lead business planning and budgeting, and develop financial strategies for indemnity schemes.Ensure robust financial controls, oversee internal audit and counter fraud, manage annual accounts, and lead procurement for value and compliance.Support papers for two Board subcommittees: Reserving and Pricing Committee and Audit and Risk Committee.Build effective stakeholder relationships with a strategic approach to partnerships, governance, and compliance.Lead and manage the Finance and Procurement teams, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.Qualifications
Qualified CCAB Accountant, or equivalent. Varied finance experience in different areas; experience as a head of finance or at deputy level in the public sector (e.g., an ALB, wider government or NHS Trust) is desirable.Highly numerate with the ability to grasp central government finance regime and health sector trends.Experience providing leadership to multi-disciplinary teams, strong stakeholder management, and building organisational partnerships.Track record of leading teams through change programmes in an environment of continuous improvement.Experience in procurement management and an understanding of procurement controls is desirable but not essential.Strong governance and compliance focus, with innovativeness, resourcefulness, and a commitment to delivering better outcomes.What we offer
