Senior Ecologist A well-established multi-disciplinary company are looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join their talented team in London. This role offers an exciting chance to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to a variety of inspiring projects alongside a friendly, multi-disciplinary team. The position provides hybrid working arrangements, requiring a minimum of three days in the office with the option for remote work by agreement. Full training and mentoring will be available to support career progression. As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a crucial role, which includes:Conducting Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA) and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA).Leading protected species surveys and designing effective mitigation strategies.Managing species translocation projects and preparing comprehensive management plans.Performing Habitats Regulations Assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain calculations.Collaborating with various disciplines, such as Landscape Architecture and Arboriculture, on planning-led projects.Taking ownership of projects, managing them end-to-end, and preparing fee proposals for major, multi-disciplinary initiatives.Leading on protected species mitigation and licensing efforts.Expanding knowledge of planning, legal, and regulatory frameworks.Developing and pursuing marketing activities to grow ecology work in the East Midlands, London, and the South-East.Conducting fieldwork, including evening, night, a
